Specialized Stumpjumper is a retro-style advergame for the 2018 Specialized Stumpjumper built in Phaser. Fast paced and simple, players of any skill level can have fun with this ExciteBike homage. I worked primarily on game design and UI design, contributing to programming and cutscene art as well.
DID A WHOLE LOT ON IT
The Senpai is a Unity-based visual novel. My work on the game included basically everything, except for audio, and approximately half of the writing because I wrote it with my main dude Clark. You can play it if you want cowboy, just press the button up there that says 'The Senpai'. Written up by Kotaku, Nerdist, and other blogs.
SceneSampler is a social game for events and festivals, using Arduino-based wearable technology to have two players 'map out' a social space using sound. The game was produced in collaboration with Katherine Isbister's Social Emotional Technology Lab at UC Santa Cruz. My work on the game included software and hardware design, as well as programming. Selected for IndieCade 2017, and Come Out And Play 2017.
I MADE IT
lazy river is a frantic and fast-paced endless runner built in Phaser. Controlling a duck, players must avoid rocks, drink beers, bounce a beach ball, and dodge sniper fire to get a high score. Designed to be extremely stressful, but manageable.
